Why rum, why Rwanda? 

​

To showcase a terroir you need to know. Nestled in one of the world's most biodiverse nooks, Rwandan terroir is like nowhere else on Earth. Here, you find savanna, wetland, rainforest and mountain.

 

Here, sugarcane grows in river-kissed valleys between densely forested hills, under the looming volcanoes of the Virunga range.

 

Why rum, why Rwanda?

To answer our own questions: 

Can we bottle the earth's sweet savour?
Can we distill the forest and the mist?
